It's a wrong notion, amongst Indians, that systems in USA work in an absolutely smooth manner. The RTO (or it's US equivalent) goofed up Avdhut's License renewal and he had to fly all the way from Boston to Orlando just to pick it up. Thus it was this weekend that he and Ankur drove to Gainesville (in Ankur's new (used) Corolla) and we had a hell of a time.

Much of it was absolutely useless and the Saturday night ended with a ridiculous discussion with Anupam, about the new arrivals to UF (yet to come in Fall'09). Writing the details about the same would be unwise.

So I continue with Avdhut's predicament of being the odd-man-out in his Japanese workplace (not exactly; it's just Toyota) where most of his colleagues eat with chopsticks. I tried to show him how it's done but the following video is certainly a better tutor:
